Most of the free Wordpress themes out there are having Creative Commons Attribute 2.0+ License. This means that you can modify the theme in anyway you want but you have to attribute the work in the manner specified by the author.

If you download the free WP themes from other sites using this type of license, you’ll notice that most of them have the footer section encrypted.

Many of you would like the freedom to change how the footer looks. With an encrypted footer, you can’t change things like adding a “Contact” link or an RSS button. You might also want to check whether there is no malicious code in the encryption.

Seems like the banking industry somehow decided that since they have our money, they are going to take every holiday possible to delay the possibility of us getting it back. The following is what you have to look forward to for the coming times.  And the one day that was really important for me to deposit some money into my account happened to be Columbus day 2009. hah!

Well, I have been bouncing around between sites, and googling and reading and posting to find a good MOD for phpBB that would allow the users to upload a video file as an attachment and then have it embedded and playing just like the youtube video, but instead locally.

This will allow for users to upload videos that they have and not necessarily just sitting on youtube, vimeo, google video etc.

I have seen a few that will upload and play wmv and not avi, something else and not the other. Maybe someone is working on a a full mod with instructions on how to do this simple task.

As soon as find one I will let you know. OR someone might post a comment here steering me in the right direction.
